Center for Healing & Wholeness Family Support

Being a support person to an older loved one as they experience physical, emotional, or functional issues can be both rewarding and anxiety-producing. Family members (sometimes known as "family caregivers") may not know where to turn for help in accessing resouces that help older people live successfully (and safely) in their homes or apartments.

shirleyThe Center has both educational programs and one-on-one help for these family caregivers. Our Resource Coordinator meets with families or individuals to discuss current needs and situations and will offer tailored information and can help make arrangements for services. In addition our "Collaborative Caring Workshops," offered in partnership with the ElderCare Rights Alliance have been very well-received. Contact the Center for more information at 952-929-1697 (Monday-Thursday). Everyone from the west metro area is welcome!
